Information we collect

• Contributor name, optional receipt email, selected fundraiser, contribution amount, fee amount, payment status, receipt link, and transaction timestamps.
• Square transaction identifiers and limited technical records needed to reconcile payments, refunds, and webhook notices.
• Organization account and connection details supplied by authorized fundraiser administrators.
• Basic security and request logs, which may include an IP address, browser information, route, and time of access.

Card information

Card details are entered into Square’s secure payment form and sent directly to Square. TeamRise does not receive or store complete card numbers or card security codes. Square processes that information under its own privacy notice.

How information is used

We use information to complete and document contributions, provide receipts, calculate the disclosed platform fee, process authorized refunds, connect organizations to Square, investigate problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

When information is shared

Information may be shared with Square, the selected fundraiser or its authorized representatives, hosting and security providers, and government authorities when legally required. TeamRise does not sell personal information or use contribution information for unrelated advertising.

Retention and security

Transaction records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for payment support, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and legal or accounting requirements. TeamRise uses access controls and encrypted storage for connected-organization credentials, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

TeamRise may support youth organizations, but the checkout is intended for adults. Do not submit a child’s personal information through the contribution form. A person under 18 should use the service only with a parent or guardian.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information held by TeamRise, subject to transaction-record and legal retention requirements. Visit the Contact page to make a request.
